Effective date: 18 October 2026. Last updated: 18 October 2026.

These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using GodwinElijah.com and its service workspaces. Please read them before creating an account, submitting a development brief, uploading content, or purchasing a digital service. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.

1. Scope and agreement

Godwin Elijah operates the parent website and workspaces for custom website and mobile app development, CV and résumé creation, invoice, quotation and receipt tools, KDP book design, voice generation, website-to-APK building, and file conversion. These terms apply to your use of those services. A workspace may also show service-specific instructions or terms that address its particular features. If an individually agreed project proposal or contract conflicts with these general terms about that project, the individually agreed document controls for that conflict.

By using a service, you agree to follow these terms. If you act for a business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to submit materials, approve work, and accept the applicable terms on their behalf. You should not use a service if you cannot lawfully agree to these terms.

2. Accounts and access

A shared account can provide access to multiple Godwin Elijah workspaces. Keep your sign-in details secure, provide accurate account information, and update it when necessary for billing, project communication, or delivery. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by a failure for which Godwin Elijah is responsible under applicable law. Contact dev@godwinelijah.com promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Workspace access may depend on the service you select, the permissions assigned to your account, and any applicable payment or project agreement. Do not share access in a way that circumvents those permissions or exposes another person's materials.

3. Custom development projects

Website and mobile app development are custom services based on your requirements, not automatically generated products. A project begins with a brief and a mutually agreed scope that identifies the work, deliverables, responsibilities, schedule or milestones, price, and any hosting or third-party services. Submitting an inquiry does not by itself create an obligation to accept or start a project. Work begins under the agreed project arrangement.

You are responsible for supplying the content, decisions, approvals, access, and feedback reasonably needed to complete the agreed work. Delays in those inputs can affect the schedule. Changes to features, platforms, integrations, or deliverables after scope approval may require a revised timeline and price. Material changes should be agreed through the project workspace or another written project channel before additional work starts.

Review deliverables and report concerns through the agreed project channel. The project agreement states the review and acceptance process, any included revisions, handover items, and the support period. Hosting, domain registration, app-store accounts, external subscriptions, and ongoing maintenance are included only to the extent stated in the specific package or project agreement; any third-party charges are identified before they are incurred.

4. Self-service digital tools

The CV and résumé builder, business document tools, KDP book tools, voice generator, website-to-APK builder, and file conversion toolkit provide guided workspaces for producing or processing the result you request. Each tool requires suitable input from you. Review the input, settings, preview, and final output before relying on, sending, publishing, or distributing it. A generated result may require your own editing, testing, fact-checking, or professional review.

A conversion depends on the quality, format, permissions, and technical characteristics of the source material. Complex formatting, fonts, embedded media, macros, protected files, or inaccessible website resources can affect the result. A generated APK must be tested for the devices, permissions, website behavior, and distribution requirements relevant to your intended use. No tool guarantees that a file or app will be accepted by a third-party marketplace, employer, publisher, authority, or software platform.

5. Your materials and permissions

You retain whatever rights you hold in the text, documents, manuscripts, designs, audio, website material, and other content you submit. You give Godwin Elijah and the providers needed to operate a chosen service permission to host, access, copy, transform, and process that material only as needed to provide the service, maintain it, support your request, and meet applicable legal duties. The Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling in more detail.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and process the material. This matters for client data in invoices, employment references in CVs, manuscripts and cover artwork, website code and assets, and voices or identities belonging to others. Do not submit material that violates intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights. Do not put unnecessary sensitive information in a tool merely because it accepts text or files.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information you place in documents or publish in generated outputs. Godwin Elijah may remove or restrict access to material when reasonably necessary to address a rights complaint, unlawful use, a security risk, or a legal requirement, while taking applicable law and the circumstances into account.

6. Generated outputs and ownership

Subject to payment, third-party rights, and any service-specific restrictions, you may use and distribute the output created for you by a self-service tool for its intended lawful purpose. This does not transfer ownership of Godwin Elijah's software, templates, interface, code, trademarks, or materials supplied under a separate licence. Outputs may incorporate or depend on your own submitted material, licensed assets, fonts, third-party software, or provider technology; rights in those underlying components remain with their respective owners.

For a custom project, ownership, licence, source-code access, and transfer of deliverables are determined by the accepted proposal or project agreement. Do not assume that domain names, hosting accounts, paid plugins, stock assets, third-party APIs, or pre-existing development components transfer with a project unless that agreement says so. Godwin Elijah will identify relevant handover arrangements in the project scope.

7. Publishing, voice, and identity

KDP book tools help prepare book-related files; you remain responsible for the content, originality, metadata, formatting checks, publishing rights, and compliance with the rules of any publisher or marketplace you choose. Godwin Elijah is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon or Kindle Direct Publishing. No particular publication or listing outcome is promised.

Voice generation can produce audio from text and other inputs. Do not use it to impersonate someone without authorization, mislead others about a speaker's identity, infringe voice or publicity rights, or create unlawful content. Obtain permission before submitting another person's voice or protected work. Generated audio should be reviewed for accuracy, pronunciation, context, and any disclosure required by the place where you use it. Third-party AI or audio provider terms may apply to some features.

8. Acceptable use

Use the services lawfully and without interfering with other users or the platform. You must not submit malware; attempt unauthorized access; probe or overload systems; bypass account, payment, usage, or technical limits; scrape protected data; distribute unlawful or infringing material; use generated files to deceive, harass, or defraud; or use a website-to-APK tool to package a site you do not have permission to use. You must not use a conversion tool to defeat access controls or digital rights management.

Reasonable automated use must follow the controls and limits shown for the relevant service. If activity threatens security, infringes rights, or materially disrupts operations, access may be limited or suspended while the issue is investigated. Where practical and lawful, you will be given an explanation and a way to contact support. These rules do not reduce any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

9. Prices, payments, subscriptions, and credits

The price, currency, taxes, included usage, renewal terms, and any additional charges are shown at checkout or in an accepted project proposal before you commit to a purchase. Stripe handles payment processing. Godwin Elijah receives the transaction information needed to provide the purchased service, manage access, and address payment questions. You are responsible for providing valid payment information and for charges you authorize.

Where a service uses a subscription or credits, its checkout or account screen explains what the purchase includes, when a subscription renews, how credits are used, whether they expire, and how cancellation works. Cancellation normally stops future renewals; it does not automatically reverse work already performed or digital outputs already supplied. If a charge fails, access to paid features may be paused after appropriate notice. A custom project follows the payment schedule and milestone terms in its accepted proposal.

10. Cancellations, refunds, and legal rights

Contact dev@godwinelijah.com with the service, order or project reference, and reason for a cancellation or refund request. The applicable checkout terms or project agreement determine how unused service periods, credits, completed milestones, and work in progress are handled, subject to the law that applies to your purchase. Do not assume that every digital output or started custom project is automatically refundable, or that it is automatically non-refundable.

Consumers may have statutory cancellation, conformity, repair, price-reduction, or refund rights that these terms cannot remove. In some jurisdictions, starting the supply of digital content during a withdrawal period requires a specific request or acknowledgement and may affect withdrawal rights. Any such requirement must be handled in the relevant purchase flow; this page alone does not waive a legal right. If a service fails to match the agreed description or applicable legal standards, contact support so the issue can be reviewed and an appropriate remedy provided.

11. Third-party services and hosting

Projects and tools may depend on hosting, domain registrars, app stores, payment services, fonts, stock assets, email services, AI providers, or other external systems. Their own terms, technical rules, fees, and availability can affect what a service can deliver. You remain responsible for accounts and permissions that you control with those providers. Godwin Elijah is responsible for its own agreed work and will not treat a third party's independent service as something it controls.

If hosting or another continuing service is included in a custom package, the agreed project terms state its scope, duration, renewal or transfer arrangements, and who pays the provider. External links are offered for convenience and do not imply endorsement or control of the linked website.

12. Service operation and changes

Godwin Elijah maintains and improves the platform, including fixes, security work, and changes to features. Temporary interruptions can occur during maintenance or because of network, hosting, or provider issues. Report a failed conversion, inaccessible download, billing problem, or project-workspace issue through support with enough detail to investigate it. Do not rely on the platform as your only copy of an important file; keep your own source files and downloaded deliverables.

Material changes to a paid service that affect your existing entitlement will be handled in accordance with the purchase terms and applicable law. A feature description or example does not guarantee a result that the underlying input, third-party platform, or agreed project scope cannot support.

13. Privacy and confidential project information

The Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled across the parent website and workspaces. For custom development, access to confidential briefs, source material, credentials, and end-user data should follow the project agreement and the permissions needed to carry out the work. Share credentials through an appropriate project channel and revoke access that is no longer required after handover. Do not assume that a general tool workspace is a substitute for a separately agreed confidentiality arrangement.

14. Responsibility and limits

Godwin Elijah is responsible for providing services with the care and conformity required by the applicable agreement and law. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your inputs and for checking outputs before relying on them. A CV builder does not guarantee employment; an invoice tool does not provide tax or accounting advice; KDP tools do not guarantee publication; and a conversion tool does not guarantee compatibility with every source file or external system.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies. Any other limitation or allocation of risk for a custom project is stated in its agreed proposal or contract and interpreted under the law that applies. This section does not remove your statutory rights.

15. Ending access and outstanding obligations

You may stop using a service and request account closure through support. Ending access does not erase outstanding charges for work already agreed or performed, remove a lawful recordkeeping duty, or automatically transfer rights that a project agreement has not granted. Before closing an account, download files and deliverables you need to keep, subject to the availability and export options of the relevant workspace.

Godwin Elijah may restrict or end access for a material breach, unlawful use, or serious security concern, taking account of notice, the opportunity to resolve the issue, existing paid entitlements, and applicable law. For a custom project, termination and payment for completed work follow the project agreement.

16. Changes and applicable law

These terms may be updated as services, legal requirements, or operating arrangements change. The current version appears at this URL with its updated date. Material changes affecting an existing paid relationship will be communicated through an appropriate account or contact channel when required. A change will not retroactively rewrite an individually agreed project scope without agreement.

Applicable law and any competent court depend on the location and legal status of the parties, the transaction, mandatory consumer protections, and any valid agreement governing a custom project. These terms do not select an unconfirmed jurisdiction or remove access to rights or remedies that mandatory law gives you.

17. Questions and disputes

For a question about these terms, an order, a project, or a service problem, email dev@godwinelijah.com or use the Support page. Include the relevant account, service, order, or project reference and describe the issue clearly. This helps investigate and respond to the right matter. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, either party retains the remedies available under the applicable agreement and law.
